The Oscars were dominated by pale, delicate coloured dresses this year, from Jennifer Lawrence's amazing Dior gown (who cares that it nearly caused her a knee injury?) to Anne Hathaway's soft pink Prada frock ('Nipplegate' only adding to its beauty in our minds!).

But the main trend was seen on faces, with a united pink palette. There were different intensities of course, Jennifer opting for high gloss lips and pared-back eyes, Kirsten Stewart adopting a more punk 'sauvage' effect with rose coloured cheeks, eyeshadow and lips.
