When it comes to Harvey Nichols advertising, we like to tread with caution since a rather unpleasant series of 'pee-stained' ads. Supposedly the idea was that the Harvey Nichols sale was so exciting, we'd all be wetting ourselves in anticipation... or not. Some found the whole thing rather amusing in a risque sense, we weren't particularly taken by the giant posters of suspiscious damp patches but our opinion may have turned for the better with the latest images which are absolute perfection.
Think Paris Hilton carrying her pet chihuahua in a candy-coloured it bag and then strip away everything irritating from that image so that you're left with a super chic model wearing the latest, stunning it bag with a rocking dog! No miniscule pooches in these ads, you'll find a British bulldog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and an English Bull Terrier hitching a ride in the most coveted tote bags from 3.1 Phillip Lim's Pashli to Sophie Hulme and Marc by Marc Jacobs... we want them all!
The campaign, called The New Breed, was shot by photographer Miles Aldridge and styled by Harry Lambert, the man behind the Topman ads and they'll be splashed across buses and cabs as of today so Londoners will be seeing much more of these uber cool doggies!
