On Sunday night, the Byou team were treated to an extraordinary evening at London's Hammersmith Apollo, where legendary group The Jacksons were performing as part of their Unity Tour 2013. The new series of shows marks the first group tour in nearly three decades and though sadly the Jacksons were performing without their late brother Michael Jackson, his presence was felt throughout the evening in the beloved hits from the Jackson Five days (including our favourite ABC) as well as the audience's wild reaction when the foursome performed MJ's hit single Wanna Be Starting Something.

The Jacksons last toured together in 1984, supporting the release of their album Victory, which drew in an impressive 2.5 million fans to stadiums across America and the highly anticipated Unity Tour 2013 looks set to bring in the masses once again with a series of concerts taking place worldwide. We were amazed by the buzz and energy from the crowd during the concert, the Apollo was absolutely packed with all generations!
The Byou team were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to head backstage for a quick meet and greet with the Jacksons (I know!!!), who all looked incredibly dapper in glittering jackets, where we snapped pictures with the foursome and chatted easily to Tito, Marlon, Jackie and Jermaine Jackson who were as genuine and friendly as we'd hoped! We even had a sneak peek of Peter Andre as he arrived for the performance, before he was immediately swarmed by adoring fans.
Truly, this was a night that will remain in our best memories for years to come, words can't describe the wonderful ambience and enthusiasm from the audience as the Jacksons performed in true Jackson style, proving once again that they've still got it!
