The Big Rooftop Tea & Golf Party

Vintage Selfridges Leisure is Back

Vintage Selfridges Leisure is BackVintage Selfridges Leisure is Back This summer seems to be full of exciting events, from tailored shopping walks through the capital to Selfridges' Big Rootop Tea & Golf Party. As part of their Big British Bang, the Oxford Street store recently opened their rooftop event on the 31 st of May which will be running throughout the summer until the 2 nd of September.

The Big Rooftop Tea & Golf Party promises to transform the Selfridges rooftop into the perfect destination for a round of a crazy golf (who doesn't want to swing a shot on top of Selfridges!?) as well as the award-winning Daylesford organic cafe for the 'highest afternoon tea on Oxford Street'.

The crazy gold course takes on the theme of tea and cakes and was designed by British food architects Sam Bompas and Harry Parr who were inspired by jelly, icing and fondants to re-create famous London landmarks for the 9-holes of the course.

You'll have to be quick if you want to be involved however as tickets are limited due to high demand and the obvious lack of space on the roof.

Half the crazy golf sessions will require pre-purchased tickets and the other half will be allocated on a walk-up basis by visiting the roof entrance lift (situated in the Fragrance Hall) and the lift host will advise about the current golf availability – it's a very much a first come, first served basis so try to head over early to avoid disappointment!
