It may be hard to believe but there's another shoe collaboration on the way! Following the launch of L.K Bennett's Caroline Issa capsule collection and Katie Grand's designs for Hogan, Dune has announced an exciting partnership with award-winning footwear designer Joanne Stoker for its Spring Summer 2013 collection.
After graduating in 2009 from the prestigious Cordwainer's College, where she completed an apprentership under Jimmy Choo (also an former graduate from the college) Joanne Stoker launched her own luxury label two years later. She has won reputable awards including the First Into FashionAward with Jimmy Choo and Melanie Rickey, and the Footwear Friends Award sponsored by the British Footwear Association.
Speaking of the collaboration with Dune, Joanne Stoker explained,
'I’ve really enjoyed working with Dune on the collaboration; I felt we were all on the same wave length in terms of design direction. I was given as much freedom as I needed to design and put the range together and I'm so happy with the final designs.'
Joanne Stoker follows in the (literal) footsteps of Olivia Rubin who collaborated with the brand previously and we look forward to spotting her neon details on six pairs of shoes and two bags which will be available from next week in Dune stores and online with prices ranging from £70 to £145.
