Up and coming designer Calla Haynes will design a capsule collection for summer

A New Collaboration Chez Comptoir des Cotonniers

With Paris Fashion Week starting very soon, there's more good news coming from the French side of the fashion industry in the form of a brand new, exciting collaboration with Comptoir des Cotonniers! Fans of the French brand will agree that chezComptoir, quality fabrics are a given and price points are still affordable, though by no means cheap. If you love this label, this hot-off-the-press news is bound to excite you. Not only has Amélie Gillier joined the brand as creative director, having previously worked for 12 years at Zadig & Voltaire as well as Kenzo and designing her own line, but the brand will join forces with Paris based designer Calla Haynes.

Recognised by her flirty, playful designs and high end fabrics, the up-and-coming designer has been showcasing her work for a several seasons, however due to her expensive materials, her pieces come with a mighty price tag and are therefore not widely available... until now. Calla Haynes will design her very first capsule collection with Comptoir to be launched in April and it will include 15 summer pieces including shoes and bags.

Speaking to WWD, Calla Haynes explained that the collection would cover everything a girl needed in her summer wardrobe,

'You have your jeans and your T-shirt, your miniskirt. You have your beach look, and then you have the dress you wear to your best friend’s wedding,' she said explaining the inspiration behind the range as 'a girl on her summer vacation in a very picturesque village of France'.

Well you can bet Byou will be first in line on the launch date!
