Alex Monroe's beautiful jewellery collections

Alex Monroe has long been one of my favourite jewellery designers. I adore his ability to transform childhood memories and scenes from nature into beautifully crafted jewellery ready to be cherished for years. From his fun little charms, including Petite Tea Spoon and Enchanted Apple, to his more luxurious heritage flower pieces and even an adorable birdlife collection complete with tiny owls and love birds (Mr & Mrs Bird is a personal favourite!).

It's the attention to detail in each piece which makes them so precious but
Alex has also been involved in a variety of fun collaborations which is also part of the appeal. Following the success of his trademark bumblebee necklace (
Sienna Miller can often be seen wearing hers!)
Alex collaborated with natural skincare brand
Burt's Bees last year to create the Honey Bee and Flower necklace and ring whilst helping to raise money for the
British Beekeepers Association.
Following on from this partnership,
Alex has now released his gorgeous Goring Shrimp necklace (I die!) in collaboration with his childhood memories from
The Goring Hotel where we would buy bags of shrimp from the local fishermen.

Whilst these are the two most recent collaboration, they are by no means the first with the British designer having created a gorgeous golden poppy for the
British Legion, a limited edition perfume bottle with Penhaligon's and a stunning heart-shaped locket in partnership with the
Victoria & Albert Museum.
If you've ever sipped tea in the garden between rainy showers, eaten freshly baked gingerbread men or experience a British summer, you need to own a piece of the Alex Monroe Best of British collection, there's something for every childhood memory.
