The new campaign shots have been released and they really really work

Jennifer Lawrence is having quite a moment right now with awards, haute couture campaigns and top film roles although some could argue she's having a terrible time... With wardrobe malfunctions followed by an unfortunate fall on the stairs when collecting her Oscar (which begs the question, how is this not on purpose?) it's kind of like waching Sandra Bullock as Gracie Hart only in real life... on the red carpet.
 

The actress of the moment certainly has a clumsy side to her but it's actually quite refreshing to find that those perfect beings we see swishing and swaying in their fishtail gowns and princess jewels are humans like the rest of us. That being said, it certainly hasn't stopped Jennifer Lawrence getting to the top with a stunning campaign for Miss Dior photographed by Willy Vanderperre. The beautiful shots are elegant and minimalist, quite a contrast to the previous campaign fronted by Mila Kunis which were much more cinematic. The first shots were released only last week and although I had my reservations about seeing Jennifer Lawrence as the new Miss Dior girl, I'm actually loving her look with the strong lines of Raf Simon's collection.
 

'It’s such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion,' Jennifer told WWD last fall about her new role for Miss Dior and famously explained that it only takes her 15 minutes each morning to get ready and that she loves to 'casualize' anything she wears.
