The handsome actor launches an active sportswear range

If ever there was a suave man who could show all other men a thing or two when it comes to sweeping a woman off her feet, it's Matthew McConaughey. With his unkempt hair and mischievous smile, the gorgeous actor has just announced plans to branch out into fashion design with his own collection of 'active sportswear'.
 

The range has been named JKL after the actor's own charity, the Just Keep Livin Foundation, which aims to promote healthy and active lifestyles for high school students, and will feature a variety of clothing which hopes to take men from the gym to the dinner table... hopefully with a shower in between!?
 

'I don't like to push reset. I like to be able to wear something that is appropriate for wherever the day takes me: to work, on a hike and then out to dinner,' Matthew McConaughey explains.
 

'I like to take the formality out of the day's schedule and be ready for any off-road detour... One of the first things I had written down was 'from the jungle to the opera.' That's a bit of an exaggeration, but that's the idea.'
 

Unlike many celebrity collaborations, which seem to be snowballing in numbers, Matthew McConaughey does not want to be the face of the brand nor have his name directly associated with the line which he hopes will set him apart from the rest of the actor/models turned designers. He says,
 

'I personally don't like to wear clothing that is named for somebody or has someone's likeness all over it. Even if my name were on, I don't know that I'd want to wear it.'
 

JKL will be available to buy from next month and we'll be looking out for more details as the launch date approaches. Does this mean my boyfriend will be as charming as Matthew McConaughey if he wears these clothes? Here's hoping...
