The actress dazzles for the film's 3D premiere

Get Kate's Titanic Look

It's hard to believe that James Cameron'Titanic was originally released 15 years ago. Since then a lot has changed… or has it? Leo's still single and Kate looks every bit as glamorous as she did back then, two children and two divorces later! This week the British star attended the film premiere of the digitally remastered film, Titanic 3D, at the Royal Albert Hall wearing a Swarovski encrusted dress by Kate Middleton favourite, Jenny Packman, topped off with Grace Kelly-inspired hair and vintage diamond earrings by Goode & Son. Kate's make-up was simple with one sweep of drama: her bow-shaped magenta stained lips which set off the whole outfit. Here are the shades and beauty weapons needed to recreate this look (you'll need to find the diamonds yourself!).

The Base

Kate has a lot of make-up on here, because a red carpet photocall requires a flawless complexion - but she still looks incredibly fresh and youthful.  The key to achieving such good coverage whilst maintaining a natural finish, lies in a good primer since it prepares the skin for foundation and gives it uniformity and staying power. Face Base by ModelsCo is a uniquely transparent primer that has the added benefit of moisturising vitamins C & E. Because it is clear, it acts like a second skin that smoothes out fine lines and pores. Over this, try Benefit's new Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow! Foundation (available in nine shades) which is oil-free and light defusing, perfect for the current bursts of sunshine and very lightweight - its fluidity actually belies the great coverage that it provides. Face Base by ModelsCo, £30. Hello Flawless, £24.50, Benefit.co.uk

Cheeks

Kate's cheeks have been swept with a dusty pink right up to her temples, which is a good trick for slimming the face and highlighting the cheekbones. Try Nars's Highlighting Blush Powder, in New Order, a soft pink with a very subtle gold and silver shimmer. £21 from Nars

Eyes

The lids are tame and sophisticated with a very pretty silver sheen, picked up with a dusting of pink near the outer edges of the eyes, echoing the colour on the cheeks. Kate's the face of Lancôme, so we suspect that the colours are from the Ombre Absolute Palette, in Baby Glam which offers both these shades and a darker pink for the corners (just s smidge!). £33 Selfridges

Lips

Bold! But don't go there if you don't have full lips -  it can be ageing to wear such a strong colour. Use instead a dusty pink lipgloss to finish this look. For those blessed with a plump pout, try Lancôme's Rouge In Love lipstick in this same titled shade. £21 Selfridges

Hair

This is a carefully constructed bun, shaped and sculpted without the use of any ties (a technique used on many of the Spring/Summer 2011 shows). It's not something that can be easily copied, but a simple bun will complete this look, held in place with Maroccanoil Luminous Hold Hairpsray which is perfect for soft, natural styles. £16 from FeelUnique.com
